What is Demi?
Plain-language guides for creators — no engineering homework required.
A few years from now, making a show will feel less like fighting a Hollywood gate and more like publishing a newsletter: you have an idea, you shape the world, you ship episodes on your own rhythm. Demi is the studio layer for that future — the place where your series bible, your season plan, and your episode generation all live in one coherent system, tuned for animation first.
We are not trying to replace your taste. We are trying to replace the friction between the story in your head and the moving images your audience actually sees.
What you do here
You describe (or upload) what matters: characters, tone, pacing, visual rules. Demi helps you turn that into scripts, boards, motion, voices, and sound in a single pipeline, so “episode seven” still feels like the same show as “episode one.” When you are ready to start from existing ink, Manage Animate lets you bring panel images you already have into the same continuity mindset — always with the expectation that you only upload work you own or have permission to use.
Who Demi is for
- Showrunners and writers who think in seasons, not one-off clips.
- Independent creators who want a serious workflow without building a render farm.
- Small teams who need one shared context instead of a dozen disconnected tools.
If your goal is “a vertical slice for TikTok,” plenty of tools can help. If your goal is a show that compounds, Demi matches how you already think.
Trust in plain language
Your projects and account belong to you. Purchases and generation are tied to your login and, when you use it, your linked wallet. We design the product so billing and generation history stay private to your account — not mixed into a public feed or resold as training fodder without clear terms.
If something fails during a paid generation step, credits are returned automatically so you are not charged for silence or broken frames. Finished work follows the refund rules described in Credits & pricing.
Where to go next
- How generation works — the journey from idea to episode, in creator language.
- Manage Animate — consent, file tips, and how panels fit the bigger picture.
- Roadmap — where anime leads, and how we think about live action, film-length work, and distribution.
We are early. The thesis is not: “press a button, replace artists.” The thesis is: you will author your own shows, and Demi is the framework that keeps them coherent, shippable, and yours.
